Changes in minibus network as of July 17

„Rīgas satiksme” informs that starting from July 17 minibus route No. 222 „Centre-Pļavnieki” will be closed due to low passenger demand, but minibus route No. 242 will be extended and will get a new schedule. The changes are being made on the initiative of minibus company „Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme” and are based on measurements of passenger flow.

As of July 17 minibuses buses on route No. 242 will run from Kleistu Street along Anniņmuižas Boulevard, Dammes Street, Kurzemes Avenue, Zolitūdes Street, Gramzdas Street, Anniņmuižas Street, Apuzes Street, Upesgrīvas Street, Lielirbes Street, Kalnciema Street, Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on the 11^th November Embankment, then in 13^th January Street, Marijas Street, Satekles Street, Elizabetes Street to the minibus terminal (MTS). In direction of Imanta minibuses will run from minibus terminal (MTS) along Elizabetes Street, Satekles Street, Marijas Street, 13^th January Street, on the 11^th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, then in Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street, Lielirbes Street, Upesgrīvas Street, Apuzes Street, Anniņmuižas Street, Gramzdas Street, Zolitūdes Street, Kurzemes Avenue, Kleistu Street. In direction of Imanta the former minibus terminal in Dammes Street will not be served.
